Prices depend on the size and type of unit. See our units page for every size, what fits in it, and what it costs. Prices do not include 13% HST or the deposit.

Yes. We collect a deposit equal to one month’s rent when you sign your storage agreement. See the next question for how it gets used.

Yes. Everyone signs a storage agreement when they move in. It sets out the rate, the rules, and how to end the rental.

Most people rent month to month. When you want out, give us 30 days written notice.

We also offer long-term agreements. If you know you need the space for a while, get in touch and we will go over the options with you.

Rent is due on the 1st of each month. If you move in partway through a month, we only charge you for the days you use.

If an account goes overdue, late fees apply as set out in your storage agreement.

The deposit is equal to one full month’s rent, paid when you move in.

When you are ready to move out, give us 30 days written notice and the deposit goes toward your final bill. If your rate has gone up since you moved in and the deposit no longer covers a full month, you pay the difference.

The deposit does not move with you between units.

You can get to your unit any time, day or night, every day of the year, holidays included. There are no set hours you have to work around, and no appointment to book.

The property is fenced and gated, and only tenants get in.

Yes. We plow the driveways and clear the way to the units all winter.

Northern Ontario winters are no joke, and losing access to your things for four months is not much of a storage deal.

Here is the short version:

• 10x10 holds about a one-bedroom apartment, or one garage bay
• 10x15 holds about a two-bedroom apartment
• 10x20 holds a two to three bedroom house, or a vehicle
• Sea containers are good for overflow, seasonal gear, and job site materials

• Indoor building units at 10x10, 10x15, 10x20 and 12x14
• Sea containers, either an 8x10 section or a full 40 foot container to yourself
• Outdoor compound, fenced and gated, for boats, trailers and equipment
• Open yard space for parking and staging

Every indoor unit and container is at ground level, so you can drive right up to the door. See them all on the units page.

No. Our indoor units and sea containers are enclosed and keep the weather out, but they are not heated or cooled.

If you are storing something that does not like cold or damp, like electronics or good furniture, cover it well and ask us which unit suits it best.

Most things, including:

• Furniture, appliances and household goods
• Business inventory, documents and records
• Tools and equipment
• Vehicles, boats, trailers, ATVs and snowmobiles
• Seasonal gear you only need half the year

Not sure about something? Just ask. We would rather answer the question than have you guess.

For safety and legal reasons, you cannot store:

• Anything hazardous, flammable or explosive
• Illegal or controlled substances
• Food that can spoil, animals, or plants

You also cannot live in a unit, repair vehicles in one, or run a business out of one. The full list is in your storage agreement.

Yes. Boats, RVs, travel trailers, ATVs, snowmobiles and vehicles all go in the open yard or the fenced compound.

Because we are right on Highway 17, drop-off and pickup is easy. No tight side streets, and plenty of room to turn a truck and trailer around.

Yes. The customer portal lets you view your agreement, update your payment details, and pay your balance from any device, any time.

Sizes turn over regularly, so it is often not a long wait.

The property is fully fenced and gated, with cameras running around the clock and lights across the grounds. Only tenants get in.

The outdoor compound has an extra layer: 10 foot fencing topped with barbed wire.

We are at 2855 Highway 17 in Goulais River, Ontario, about 22 minutes north of Sault Ste. Marie. We are right on the highway, so there are no side roads to find and plenty of room to turn a truck and trailer around.
