Our story

Serving Goulais River since 2014

For more than ten years we have been where people around here put the things that will not fit at home. We sit right on Highway 17, which makes us an easy stop for anyone driving between Sault Ste. Marie and the communities to the north, including Haviland, Heyden, Harmony Beach, Trout Lake, Searchmont and Batchewana Bay.

It started as a simple idea: give people here a safe place to keep their things. More than 500+ people have used us since. What has not changed is who picks up the phone. Call us and you are talking to someone who lives here and shops here.

Clearing out the garage, staging equipment between jobs, or looking for somewhere to park the boat until spring, the whole point is to make that easy.

Community

More than a storage facility

Goulais Storage is a small, locally owned business, not a chain with a head office hundreds of kilometres away. Being local means we are not just doing business in this community, we are part of it.

You will find us at the Goulais River Community Days parade every July, cheering on the floats with everyone else. We have sponsored and played in the annual family baseball tournament at Captain Tilley Park, and donated toward keeping that park maintained. It has been the heart of the community’s summer gatherings for over forty years.

Supporting local matters. Choosing Goulais Storage keeps money in the community, supports local employment, and backs a business that gives back. Every dollar spent with a business like ours ripples out to the schools, the fire department, the community events, and the people who make this area home.
